In 1980, a group of seasoned attorneys and property management professionals identified a growing need for a method by which to screen applicants in addition to simple retail credit inquiries… and National Tenant Network (NTN) was born.

Today, we are the oldest national tenant screening company in the nation: the only national reporting agency in existence strictly to report tenant performance. NTN continues to set the standard for providing information to assist in the tenant selection process. NTN has been chosen by thousands of local and national property management firms, and also by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), as the most comprehensive tenant performance reporting service in the U.S.

In 1986, NTN became the first company in the tenant selection business to expand its geographical coverage across the entire U.S. Today, it has millions of tenant performance records and covers the U.S. and Canada with the same detailed, timely, high-quality reports from regional offices nationwide. NTN servers give subscribers instant access to reports for all 50 states.
